Click on Images to See Enlargements * The first five images are of wallhangings I made with commercial felt and cotton. After creating these pieces, I decided to try my hand at making felt. So, in 2004, I began learning to make felt from merino wool roving, using the wet felting method. The last 6 images are of works and works in progress that use handmade felt. The process is a strenuous one, but I find it quite enjoyable, particularly the transformation of the wool fibre into material. I'll continue to add pieces to the site as I complete them. |
